Privacy

Requests and submissions: the details you type into a form (name, email, institution, purpose, message, and what you tell us about an item) are emailed to the Egypt, Retold team and kept so we can reply. Files you upload are stored privately and are never published without your agreement.

Letters from the archive: your email address is kept only after you confirm it, and is removed from the list as soon as you unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Cookies: the site sets only the cookies it needs to work (a session cookie and a form-security cookie). There are no advertising or tracking cookies. Forms may be protected by Cloudflare Turnstile.
